Use & Tips

PREPARATION:



  1. Prior to application, find the correct size for each nail. Align the nail tabs facing your cuticles and check sides for proper fit.

  2. If you are in between sizes, go smaller, not larger.

  3. Wash hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly.

  4. Use the included cuticle stick to gently push back excess skin.

  5. Wipe nails with the enclosed prep pad to clean nails for better adhesion. You can use rubbing alcohol in place of or in addition to prep pad.



APPLICATION:



  1. Peel the backing from the nail and gently press onto your natural nail, center, and sides at the same time.

  2. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat for each nail. (Press on thumbnails last.)

  3. Wait at least one hour to wet hands or file nails if desired.



REMOVAL:



  1. Do not force or pull nails off.

  2. Soak your nails in warm water with soap or oil.

  3. Once the water is no longer warm, gently peel the nails off from the side and use cuticle stick to help lift off if needed.

  4. If you need more assistance, soak in acetone, or use KISS Glue OFF.

  5. Wipe off nails and adhesive.

Let’s talk about sizing

"Each Impress manicure package comes with 30 nails. There are 12 sizes marked from 0 to 11. There are only 2 each of sizes 0 through 4, and 8 through 11. There are 4 each of sizes 5, 6, and 7. If you purchase a set with accent nails, those accent nails will be the duplicate sizes 5, 6, and 7, so you still have one set of solid-color nails in every size. That distribution of sizes may work well for many people, but it is challenging for me. I need both 0s, both 1s, both 2s and both 3s. I would actually prefer to have two 2s instead of having to use the 1s on my middle fingers because the bottom of the 1 is so flat and wide. To use the size 1, I have to file the bottom corners to curve it. Doing that eliminates the taper there, making it possible to see a thicker edge at the sides of the bottom of that nail."
